In this 90 minute DVD, Frank Miele, President of Pegasus Lectures, discusses important physics concepts as they relate to what sonographers do in their everyday practice. The purpose of this DVD is to review main ultrasound physics concepts and connect those concepts into a cohesive “story” that is both memorable and applicable. The ultrasound physics “story” is organized and discussed as it pertains to 7 steps and/or choices that sonographers make each time they scan a patient.

How to Use Unifying Ultrasound Physics Review DVD as you study for your registry review exams
If purchasing with Ultrasound Physics, 4th Edition:
- Watch the DVD prior to reading Ultrasound Physics, 4th Edition to get an introduction to the physics concepts covered in the text.
- As you proceed through Ultrasound Physics, 4th Edition, view the corresponding track on the DVD to reinforce the concepts you have just finished reading.
- View each of the modules until you feel comfortable with the material presented in the text and on the DVD. After completing Ultrasound Physics, 4th Edition, view the DVD again, in its entirety.
- Watch the DVD prior to taking any exams on CD, to get an overview of the physics concepts tested on the ExamSim Suite CD.
- Take the first exam on the CD. Review the modules on the Physics DVD that correspond to your areas of weakness on the score report. If you score below the passing score, you should consider purchasing Ultrasound Physics, 4th Edition or attending a Pegasus Seminar as this score indicates that you are having difficulty grasping the physics concepts.
- Take the second exam on the CD. Review the modules on the DVD that correspond to your areas of weakness on the score report.
- Take the third exam on the CD. Review the modules on the DVD that correspond to your areas of weakness on the score report.
- Watch the DVD in its entirety for an overview of the concepts that are tested on credentialing exams. If you are uncomfortable with the level of material presented you should consider purchasing Ultrasound Physics, 4th Edition or attending a Pegasus Seminar which offers a pass guarantee.
