TINY HEARTS PROJECT
COURSE OVERVIEW:
In addition to presenting normal fetal cardiac anatomy and the five essential views for fetal echocardiographic screening, the faculty will discuss technical challenges, image optimization, and tips on how to best obtain a complete fetal screening ultrasound. Hands-on focus sessions and interactive case presentations are integrated into the course.

OBJECTIVES:
At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:
● Identify normal prenatal cardiac anatomy
● Demonstrate the five sequential views of the screening fetal echo ultrasound
● Describe the ultrasound views required to assess the outflow tracts, three vessel view, and four chamber view
● Apply techniques for image optimization of the fetal cardiac ultrasound exam
● Identify pathology that is critical for referral to a fetal cardiac specialist
