Joe Zygmunt, RVT, RPhS begins this series with a lecture on Vein Mapping which includes AVF/SVS Guidelines, saphenous and non-saphenous pathologic reflux values, and mapping examples, concluding with tips on how to integrate the vein mapping into the patient’s treatment plan. In Module 2, Diana Neuhardt, RVT, RPhS and Nick Morrison, MD present Ultrasound Techniques: Pre, Peri, and Post Superficial Venous Procedure. Technical tips on how to optimize ultrasound images and procedure outcomes are integrated throughout the module. Module 3 presents a ScanLab on imaging of primary varicose veins. In the Module 4 ScanLab, Diana Neuhardt, RVT, RPhS demonstrates how to assess a post-thermal ablation patient presenting with recurrent disease.
