Part II of Interventional Techniques begins with a discussion of de Quervains injection technique. Hydrodissection of carpal tunnel syndrome is shown sonographically as is volar ganglion cyst aspiration. Needle and transducer placement for other injection procedures includes trigger finger, peroneal tendon sheath, MP joint, neuroma, Baxter’s nerve, and plantar fasciopathy. Common sites for calcium hydroxyapatite deposition are covered as well as the technique of pulse lavage, aspiration, and steroid injection for relief of pain. Additional topics include tendon fenestration and platelet rich plasma (PRP) growth factors. Case examples complement the discussions.
