Lawrence Needleman, MD

Larry Needleman was born in the Bronx. Upon finishing his radiology residency at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in 1982, he did a fellowship in Ultrasound at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He has been a staff physician in the Division of Ultrasound, Department of Radiology, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital since 1984, and involved with Doppler since 1982. He is the director of the Noninvasive Vascular Lab, one of the first accredited laboratories in the US. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Labs. He is a member of the SVU, and a fellow of the AIUM, SRU, and ACR.
