Tish has been actively involved in Vascular Laboratory testing, management and education programs for over 25 years. Her past experience includes the Carilion Health System in Southwestern Virginia and Vascular and Transplant Specialists in the Hampton Roads area of Eastern Virginia. Tish is an Ohio native and currently resides in Cincinnati, having accepted a newly created position with the University of Cincinnati Physiciansí Vascular Division in the capacity of Director for Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory Services. She has been elected to the position of Vice-President of the SVU, with her term beginning in 2010, after serving for six years on the Board of Directors and Co-Chair for the Meetings Subcommittee. One of the many educational programs that Tish has helped to direct includes a review course for physicians preparing to sit for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) RPVI examination that is the first of its kind designed to test minimal competency skills for interpretation of vascular laboratory tests.
